A basement survey allows us to carry out an assessment of your current property and evaluate the feasibility of either converting a basement or building a new basement.
From this survey, our knowledgeable surveyors will be able to take measurements and determine exactly what basement options will be suitable for your home. These options could include:
- A basement extension
- A basement conversion
- A complete new build basement
- An open-site garden basement.
In addition, it is during this survey that any potential issues in terms of planning or building legislation can be identified, as well as providing an opportunity to assess the impact that the build may have on the surrounding environment, including neighbouring properties
Once the feasibility of the basement build has been determined we are then in a position to start detailing an estimate of costs and timescales that we can work to.
Many of our clients choose to contract the 4Site team to complete the entire basement renovation project; however, we do offer the option for clients to contract us to complete specific elements of the work such as the groundworks or the structural framework, or even just the final fit-out.
